YOMA Individual courses

Individual courses are for those who wish to apply for each course weekend individually or who have not been accepted onto a full term. 

YOMA offers you in person and online 

• 1 private lesson per course weekend or active participation in a masterclass if your recording demonstrates a very high level 
• visits to, and in some cases participation in, lessons within the YOMA programmes 
• an international environment for talented musicians with teachers and participants from other Nordic and European countries 

For those attending in person, the following are also offered 

• the opportunity to play in chamber music groups, ensembles and/or orchestras 
• concert visits and, in some cases, participation in concerts 

The course content may be somewhat limited compared to that of the YOMA programmes, partly because certain course content and ensembles/orchestras are reserved for regular participants.

What you need to do to be accepted 

• If you have not participated previously or within the last year, you must submit a recording so we can match your groups and orchestras to your level.
