Training in ensemble playing and chamber music

Ensemble playing/chamber music is an essential part of your musical development. By learning to play your own part in an advanced ensemble and understanding the roles of others within the whole, you will become an independent musician.

This is included in the training

• Ensemble playing/chamber music during every course
• Groups and repertoire tailored to your level
• Teacher-led rehearsals and scheduled independent work
• Concert performances
• For participants from stage 2, we plan the repertoire for the entire term
• Feel free to bring your own ensemble or chamber music group, or start a group that also practises between course weekends
