By train/bus

You can reach Vänersborg easily by train from all parts of Sweden and from our Nordic neighbours. By train; 50 minutes to Gothenburg, 3,5 hours to Stockholm and between 3,5-4 hours to Oslo.

Go right from Resecentrum up to the railway bridge. When you have crossed the railway bridge, turn right and after about 50 meters you will see the main entrance of Vänerparken. Alternatively, cross the railway crossing towards large parking.

Southern entrance

Follow the sign E45 towards Karlstad. You enter Vänersborg on Edsvägen and pass Vänervallen and Vänerskolan (on the right). At the second traffic light after Vänerskolan (when you see a parking lot on the right side), turn left and after about 50 meters you are at the main entrance of Vänerparken.

North entrance

Follow the signs E45 towards Gothenburg. After crossing the railway bridge, turn right at the traffic lights. After 50 meters you are at the main entrance of Vänerparken.

Parking

Parking spaces are available at Edsvägen (free) or opposite the entrance to Mötesplats Vänersborg.
