The winner of Polstjärnepriset 2025: cellist Clara Yuna Friedensburg

Congratulations to this year’s winner of Polstjärnepriset: cellist Clara Yuna Friedensburg from Norway! The jury chose the winner with the following statement: “With an expressive and highly emotional vulnerability to her playing, Clara’s powerful yet passionate tone and phrasing offers the audience an intense and unforgettable experience.”

The audience was treated to amazing performances by all four finalists:

• Sara Hagman, violin, Sweden – 2nd prize
• Otilia Zielke, flöjt, Denmark – 3rd prize
• Daniel Iourtchik, violin, Sweden – 4th prize
