YOMA master class and Talent Programme course March
Application deadline: 11 January. For Swedish and Nordic string and wind talents, online/IRL, auscultating pedagogues are equally welcome.
The course is given both online and on site in Vänersborg and welcomes everyone (approx. 10-18 years old) who is part of the Talent Programme or who wants to apply for it.
If you want to apply for the Talent Programme, you need to send a link to a recording on YouTube or Vimeo to yoma@yomacenter.se – no links with expiry dates. You may then be invited to the course for trial lessons and/or an entrance audition.
We have extensive experience in online teaching and will help you with the technology if you want to participate online. If you participate online, in addition to your own lessons, you can participate in group lessons and experience the lessons of others.
Course content
- Individual and group lessons
- Master classes with distinguished professors and talent developers
- High-level orchestral playing
- Chamber music, including mixed wind and string ensembles
- Concertmaster and section leader training
- Concert performances

If you participate on site, we can offer accommodation and breakfast for 400 SEK/night in a shared room or 600 SEK single room. As a rule, all participants, except adults, are accommodated in shared rooms. We also offer lunch and dinner for 120 SEK/meal. We will send you a link for booking and paying for meals and accommodation.
Apply here. The application closes on 11 January. Your application is only valid once you have sent the notes for your individual lessons as an attached PDF file (no link) in an e-mail to yoma@yomacenter.se. If you are applying for the Talent Programme, you will also need to send a link to a recording.
Auditing teachers apply here.
Course fees depend on the programme you are in, where you live and whether you are participating IRL/online. In many cases, the courses are free of charge, but check what applies to you under your programme on the website or in this overview.
