Kurs

YOMA FOR ALL at Kungliga Musikhögskolan

Application deadline: 16 February. The course is suitable for you, aged 10-19, who has played a wind or string instrument for a few years. Feel free to bring your music friends, your teacher or your ensemble/orchestra! The course is organised jointly by YOMA – Young Musicians Academy and the Royal College of Music and is for all wind and symphony orchestra instruments.

Instrumental pedagogues and orchestra leaders are welcome to auscultate and participate in seminars.

What you get at YOMA FOR ALL

  • Participate in group lessons and section rehearsals
  • Play orchestral parts that suit your level
  • You learn from our coaches (talented young musicians and students)
  • Play in a wind, string and/or symphony orchestra (you will receive the sheet music in advance)
  • You’ll take part in one of the closing concerts if you attend both days
  • You’ll learn more about YOMA and the Royal College of Music, and listen to lessons and concerts with some very talented young musicians and students

If you send a simple recording (smartphone works fine) to yoma@yomacenter.se, you may even be selected for a lesson of your own or even for the Master class and instrumental course that will be held simultaneously at a more advanced level.

A recording can also give you access to YOMA’s Open Programme or an entrance exam for the Talent Programme. Find out more at www.yomacenter.se.
