Year programme 2024/25 for those aged 10-18 who are taking Open courses, the Open Programme or who are new to YOMA

Please note the application deadlines 30 June, 25 and 28 August.

During the academic year we will visit Lilla Akademien in Stockholm, and the music academies in Arvika, Malmö and Stockholm.

If you send an approved recording, you will be admitted to the Open Programme and may also be offered a place on some of the Talent Programme courses. Check the year programme below and the Upcoming Courses section of the website. Polstjärnepriset’s course has its own admission procedure – please apply for that course as well.

31 October – 3 November (application is open, deadline 28 August)
YOMA: course in the Talent Programme in collaboration with Polstjärnepriset, Vänersborg and online
Winds and strings. Can also fit participants in the Open Programme.

2-6 January (deadline for applications 10 November)
YOMA: course in the Talent Programme in collaboration with Polstjärnepriset, Vänersborg, Gothenburg and Stockholm

1-2 February
Master class and string course in the Talent Programme at Lilla Akademien (LA), Stockholm and online

1-2 March
YOMA: Open course and course in the Open Programme, Vänersborg and online
Winds and strings

5-6 April
YOMA: Open course and course in the Open Programme at the Royal College of Music, Stockholm and online
Winds and strings. With teachers from the Royal College of Music and YOMA.

3-4 May
YOMA: Open course and course in the Open Programme at the Malmö Academy of Music and online
Winds and strings. With teachers from the Malmö Academy of Music and YOMA.

7-8 June
YOMA: Open course and course in the Open Programme, online
Winds and strings

3-10 August
YOMA Summer Academy, preliminarily at Ingesund School of Music
Winds and strings. With teachers from music academies and professional orchestras in the Nordic countries and the rest of Europe. More information coming soon.
