Unique opportunity for freelance, preferably newly graduated musicians who play orchestral instruments!
Do you want to collaborate with some of the Nordic region and other Europe’s leading professors, talent developers and educators and motivate the country’s young people to invest in your instrument? The National Center for Music Talent works at the interface between profession, higher education, talent development and all young people who love to play. We are looking for you who play wind instruments (flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, french horn), viola or double bass and who part-time (30%) for one year from 22-08-15.
This is what you will do:
- you participate in the operation and teaching on our hybrid platform online and on site as an assistant to some of the leading professors and talent developers on your instrument and as an educator and mentor for the participants in the talent center’s various activities
- you participate in the center’s concert activities online and on site and in the production of digital teaching materials
- you organize visits to cultural schools and other music educations and play for and with young people and motivate them to play your instrument at a high level.
For meetings with cultural school students, it can be an advantage to like different music styles, have some experience with sound / video technology and be able to write simple arrangements.
In other words: you broaden your professional skills and gain new qualifications as a musician, inspirer, talent developer / educator, entrepreneur and in digital production.
You must have an F-tax certificate and be VAT registered to be able to participate in the project. The best way to get in touch with us is to send an email to yoma@vanersborg.se where you briefly describe your background, supplemented with links to video recordings with you.
Welcome with your application no later than 22 08 01 and many thanks to the Kulturrådet who made this possible through the restart grant!
