Kurs

Course within YOMAs Talent Programme May

For national and Nordic string talents, online/IRL, practising teachers are equally welcome.

The course is given both online and on site in Vänersborg and welcomes everyone (about 10-18 years old) who is in the Talent Programme or who wants to apply for it.

To apply for the Talent Programme, you need to send a link to a recording on YouTube or Vimeo to yoma@yomacenter.se – no links with expiry dates. You may then be invited to the course for trial lessons and/or admission exams.

All YOMA courses are free of charge. If you play viola or double bass and participate on site in Vänersborg, we will even pay for travel plus one day’s accommodation and food.

Course content

  • Individual and group lessons and master classes with prominent professors and talent developers
  • High-level orchestral playing
  • Chamber music, including mixed wind and string ensembles
  • Concertmaster and section leader training
  • Concert performances

Info and registration

If you participate on site, we can offer accommodation and breakfast for 400 SEK/night in a shared room or 500 SEK in a single room. As a rule, all participants, except adults, are placed in shared rooms. We also offer lunch and dinner for 110 SEK/meal. We will send you a link to book and pay for meals and accommodation.

Application is now closed. Your application will be valid only when you have sent a link to a recording (see above) and a score for your individual lessons (as an attached pdf file, no link) in an email to yoma@yomacenter.se.
