YOMA Strings – Course weekend online and IRL

Open course for string students and pedagogues

The course is given both online and on site in Vänersborg for string instrument students (ca 10 – 18 years) with a few years of experience. String instrument teachers are welcome to follow the course with or without their own students.

You can take part for either a single lesson or a whole day – or even two days if there are enough free places on the course. You will receive an individual lesson, a group lesson and much more each day.

All YOMA courses are free of charge. If you play the viola or double bass we will even pay for your travel to Vänersborg, as well as full board for one day.

We have a lot of experience with online teaching, and are happy to assist you with the technology if you want to participate online.

The course is held together with a talent course for string players and the Vänersborg chamber music festival. You can visit some of these lessons and concerts online or on site and get even more inspiration.

An open course for wind players will also be held at the same time.

Application

Please apply for the course as soon as possible, no later than 22 August. Participants are accepted by application date, until all places are filled. Your application will be considered once you have submitted scores for your individual lessons as an attached pdf file (no links) to yoma@vanersborg.se.
