Welcome to Polstjärneprisets Höstfestival

During the first weekend in November, it’s time for the Höstfestival in Vänersborg! Polstjärnepriset 2025 is the second Nordic edition of the competition and you will therefore get to hear not only the country’s but also the entire Nordic region’s best young soloists.

Sunday 3 November at 14.30 Winner’s concert with the winner of Polstjärnepriset 2024

At the Polstjärnepriset Winners’ Concert, cellist Hugo Svedberg is in focus. He was crowned the winner of Polstjärnepriset 2024 in Gothenburg Concert Hall on 5 January. In August 2024, he won second prize in Eurovision Young Musicians – Europe’s largest televised competition for young classical musicians, watched by over a million TV viewers. During the concert on 3 November, he will perform as a soloist and together with young musicians from Polstjärnepriset 2025.
