Apply now to YOMA:s autumn courses
All of this autumn’s courses are now listed on the website. The application deadlines for several of the courses are fast approaching! You can choose to apply for the entire autumn term – i.e. all courses – or just the courses you’re interested in as stand-alone courses.
The autumn term courses will take place on (4/)5-6 September, (2/)3-4 October, 28 October–1 November and 2–6 January. Read more under Aktuella kurser on the website. The dates in brackets are extra days for certain instruments, after agreement with the respective participants.
The courses in November and January are held simultaneously and partly in conjunction with the Polstjärnepriset Nordic competition and course, with participants from across the Nordic region.
Application for the full term
The combined application for the entire spring term 2026 was a success. Many participants took part in all the courses. We are now repeating this success for the autumn. We have two tracks:
The YOMA track with lessons, chamber music/ensemble and orchestral playing
The Mahler track with the same content, but with an extra focus on Mahler’s First Symphony. This track requires that you practise extensively on your own and that you may already be participating in, or have participated in, YOMA’s own or other Mahler projects (e.g. the Lilla Akademien or Finnish VIVO Orchestra projects).
You apply for both tracks using the same form and indicate in the last question where you can leave extra information, if you are interested in the Mahler track.
We need your application for the entire autumn term by 14 June at the latest. Link to the form: https://forms.office.com/e/f50FatPGtF
Apply for each course individually
You can apply for the autumn courses as stand-alone courses. Read more about stand-alone courses here on the website.
You apply using the same form as for the whole autumn term and tick the boxes for the courses you are interested in. You can read more about each course under Aktuella kurser.
NB! The deadline for applications for the September course is 14 June and for the October course 9 August.
Reminder: Apply to Polstjärnepriset
We would also like to remind you that the deadline for applications for the Polstjärnepriset competition is 15 June and for the Polstjärnepriset course 18 August. Apply via the relevant form here: yomacenter.se/polstjarnepriset.
