Open courses

For whom?

The Open courses are for those (10-18 years old) who have been playing for a few years and have a strong interest in developing themselves. You can apply for several Open courses each year.

What you’ll get

• teaching (and ensemble playing) that is adapted to your level of play
• individual lessons, group lessons in playing techniques, visiting master classes and exciting lectures and concerts
• a coach during the course, who will practise extra with you
• ensemble and/or orchestral playing to suit your level, just IRL

Through Open courses, you’ll get to know YOMA and be inspired to invest even more in your playing. By taking advantage of all the tips you get during Open courses, you’ll be prepared for the next step: the Open Programme.

Focus instrument

If you play one of the focus instruments (oboe, bassoon, French horn, viola or double bass), we will reimburse part of your travel, food and accommodation costs. Read more here.
