Year programme 2024/25 for Swedish and Nordic talents, aged ca. 10-18
Please note the application deadlines 15 and 30 June, 25 and 28 August
During the academic year we will visit Barratt Due Musikkinstitutt in Oslo, Lilla Akademien in Stockholm, and the music academies in Arvika, Malmö and Stockholm.
New: YOMA’s Master classes
These master classes can also be applied for by those who do not attend the Talent Programme. You work with your solo repertoire and are also offered high-level ensemble playing. If you are not known to us: send us a recording, and our staff will assess whether you can be offered a place.
YOMA’s Talent Programme
Once you have passed the entrance exam, you will have access to all YOMA courses and master classes. The academic year is divided into periods. The Symphony Orchestra is working on a completely new concept on site and online, in the autumn with Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9 (concert on 6 January) and in the spring with Sibelius’ Symphony No. 2 (concert in August). With the Sinfonietta, the most advanced orchestra, as well as other orchestras and chamber music/ensembles, we work in shorter periods – periods a, b and c, which will be concluded in concert form during 1 or 2 courses.
Applicants to the Talent Programme
The Talent Programme courses are also suitable for those who are about to apply for the Talent Programme, for example those who are still in the Open Programme.
Polstjärnepriset has its own admission procedure.
